Today was HOT! This morning’s breakfast of mashed potatoes & onions, eggs and fruit was enjoyed with very little breeze off the ocean. It was a bit overcast and we prayed the clouds would last, but they did not. By the time we got to our job sites, the sun reminded us that we were in the Dominican Republic and there wasn’t a breeze anywhere. Our goal for the day was to complete block and I’m proud to say that both houses reached this goal by 4 pm. Although the heat made our work much more difficult, through teamwork and a common goal, we left our sites feeling very satisfied!
